About Me!
Hi! I’m Hilary Smiley, a licensed hairstylist of 7 years. Growing up in my home state of Missouri, I loved getting my hair done. I was obsessed with the experience of changing my look and feeling like a whole new person when I left the salon. Once I moved to LA in 2014 my passion for hair was ignited and I spent the next several years studying hair at Paul Mitchell the School in Sherman Oaks, CA where I graduated top of my class.
From there I spent the next two years furthering my education as an assistant. From there I took a multitude of color and cutting classes that sharpened my skills and allow me to give my own clients a unique and personalized experience when sitting in my chair. I want to give my clients the ultimate experience leaving them feeling transformed. Your appointment is about you and your hair goals and I strive to give my clients 100% of my attention to detail and expertise. I bring your inner beauty outside and find the best cut and color that makes YOU feel cool.
I love doing all types of cuts and colors but I would say my specialties are color block looks and edgy, modern haircuts like mullets, shags, and french bobs.
In my free time outside of the salon you can catch me at home watching movies with my husband, Dan, and our two cats; Nox & Loomis. I love all things spooky & macabre. So much so that my husband and I tied the knot on Halloween. I enjoy attending shows and live music. I consider my self a “elder emo” and my musical tastes include pop punk, alternative rock, and metal.
